Students in MCPS ranked higher than Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, Finland and Germany in the Programme for International Student Assessment. The PISA test is a worldwide test in math, reading, and science that is designed to determine how prepared students are to compete and collaborate in a global economy.

MCPS Receives Workforce Readiness Award

MCPS received the Workforce Readiness Award from the Virginia School Boards Association for the success of the division’s work-based learning program, a program that prepares students to be the future workforce for our region by exposing them to careers early and providing opportunities to experience careers first-hand.
